People with real cameras!

And the ability to use them.  The previous post was all by Megan.  This post is all by Joel.  SMASH!

Turing monster

Last year for winter this outfit was way too big. I think he wore it just one time and he was swimming in it.

It’s winter again and it’s freak’n cold outside. I was looking in his closet for his coat and hey… This will work even better than a coat!

Birthday boy!

Turing is now a year old!  Crazy.

I had to be at a conference giving presentations on his birthday, so we had a big birthday cupcake SMASH! before I left.  Fortunately, Nana Hanmer was in town to do all the pre-party prep while I did all my pre-conference freak-out.

Turing was a bit nervous about all the people in the house, but he did just fine as long as his parents were nearby.  And he ate, like, 80% of a cupcake and we have officially filled the living room with toys.  I think he’ll be getting a new toy bin very soon . . .

So close. Drag & drop even “almost” works. Google is even hosting the pic. Ain’t they sweet.

Sick little pony

Turing had his first low fever this past week.  It just lasted for a day, but that meant he got a full day of sitting on his parents and just hanging out in pajamas.  He seemed to be back to his usual self the next day, but he’s been rather cranky since then, so he’s either still worn out or he’s learned to manipulate us with his mood.  Hrm.

Swappage love

I have been sending out a fair amount of stuff to Craftster people.  The beauty of craft swaps is that I get to make something for someone who really appreciates it and then I get to get something awesome in the mail!  Often, folks will throw something in for Turing, too:

A pumpkin!

A rocket!

But the best toys are always the non-toys, like the rings from a belt!

2nd haircut and footie pajamas

Why am I so into the footie pj’s?  I don’t know.

The second haircut went pretty well - There’s just a couple of places that didn’t go very well, which is pretty good since I don’t drug him for them.
